With the trading process due tomorrow there are already a lot of teams who are considering to improve their teams performance or lessen their salary cap. Cleveland Cavaliers is one of the teams who are planning to trade their center Zydrunas Ilgauskas for the Washington Wizards Antawn Jamison who is playing for the position of forward.

The rumor of trading Ilgauskas for Antawn might be true since both teams will benefit the process. Antawn will be joining Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in a hope to win their very first championship title.

Antawn is already now on his 12th year as a NBA player and his experience towards the game will surely be a great help for the team. He has spent his career playing for several teams including Golden State Warriors wherein he has reached a career high of 24.9 points per game in 2000-01 seasons. He is consistent in his scoring and is known as a well-rounded player.

The Minnesota Twins signs a one year contract to the veteran Orlando Hudson wherein he will be receiving a salary of 5 million dollars. The team owners hope that with his addition to the team they will have a big chance to win the World Series that they last won in 1991.

Orlando Hudson’s career as a professional baseball player started at the Toronto Blue Jays. He played from 2002 to 2005. It was in 2005 when he receives his very first Gold Glove Award, which was followed in 2006, 2007, and 2009. In 2006, he decided to live the Blue Jays and play on the Arizona Damondback. However, it only lasted 3 years because last year he played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and now as a free agent he was offered by several teams but chooses to play under the Minnesota Twins.

His experience towards the game will be his advantage against the other players that will help the team on their way to success.

Calhoun had history of health problems including history of prostate and skin cancer in 2003 and most recently in 2008.

The school is very tight-lipped on Calhoun’s whereabouts but the coach physician, Dr. Peter Schulman released his statement that he personally advised Calhoum to take some rest in order to address temporary medical issues which is not related to his previous medical conditions.

Associate head coach George Blaney will head the coaching duties in Huskies while Calhoun is away.  Ucann had lost 3 consecutive games and they are not in a good position on this seaon but the team’s primary concern is coach Calhoun’s good health and his speedy recovery.

Last season, Calhoun has guided the Huskies to the Final Four but missed the Huskies’ first NCAA tournament game last March after being hospitalized for dehydration. He was also rushed to hospital last June after breaking several ribs riding a bike.
