I have noticed that over the years, the nursing uniforms I see in our city (and nearby cities as well) are almost the same and hasn’t evolved much in terms of fashion. I normally see the typical white scrub and lab gowns worn by medical practitioners. Don’t they find it boring? Day in, day out, for years, it’s basically the same style.

I do know that there are really good stuff out there like the ones in this http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Women/ site. What I noticed though is that they’ve started using color coding for their scrubs like for nurse aides, they may assign some pastel colors like light green, and then for physical therapist, probably pastel blues and that kind of color assignment.

Have you guys seen the TV show scrubs? Now they have those cool looking scrubs, unlike the ones I’m seeing in our city where it’s all like 90’s fashion. Those dark tone scrubs look really cool.

Traditional white scrubs as we know are very prone to dirt. Once you got dirt on those old white scrubs, you can’t hide it. It’s like, “hey look at me, I’m a dirty scrub!”. On the contrary, in a dark colored scrub, you might get away with it should you accidentally sit on a chare with some spilled cola on it. Well, apart from that, it just looks so cool isn’t it?

The 20th season of the Survivor has begun airing last Thursday, February 11, 2010. The title of this season is “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains,” which is being participated by former survivors. There are a total of 20 contenders wherein they were divided into two teams. The first team is called the Heroes, which are composed of the survivors who are known for their integrity. The Villains on the other hands are those who are known for their deception strategy.

As the title says, players will have to survive all the challenges and outwit the other contenders. Included to the casting is Boston Robin, who has been part of several Survivor season and the Amazing Race. He has not won from any of these but he is hoping that with his return on this special season of the Survivor he will have a chance to win. However, on the preview of the next episode of the Survivor Rob fall on the ground and was being attended of the medics.

Does Rob’s dream to become the next Survivor winner will once again disappear? There’s one way to find out that is to watch the second episode of the Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains on the CBS channel primetime.

Andrew Garcia was one of best LA audition on American Idol Season 9. HE performed his version of Maroon 5’s Sunday Morning.

Garcia is focused on the bigger picture so he remained calm in while waiting for his turn. As a dad, he has more reason to do what he really is passionate about and appreciate what he has. His parents are hoping for a better future for him so he joined American Idol. He also wants to give more that what he has to his son, if not everything.

The judges were all impressed especially Simon who believes Garcia is a genuinely good singer. Kara said that Garcia knew what to emphasize in the song and therefore, she liked it. Randy thinks he could sing anything because of his ‘mad vocals’ while guest judge Katy Perry said Andrew gave her chills. He a got a ticket to the Hollywood as all judges think he deserves it.

According to some sources, It is rumored that the Andrew Garcia is one of the finalists in the leaked list of American Idol finalists.

Pardlo is shown drinking alcohol. His family is confronting him for alcoholism because his family wants to save him from depression.

The trigger of Pardlo’s depression started when group member and girlfriend Claudette Ortiz left him and married another City High partner Ryan Toby. In addition, his failed music career made the situation worse.

His mother said that the music industry destroyed Robby. Unfortunately for Robby, he did not handle his career in music well when it went downward.

The group was composed of an R&B trio in 1999 consisting of rappers and singers Robbie Pardlo, Ryan Toby and Claudette Ortiz.  City High is famous for their hit single “What Would you Do”.

Bryson Gilreath for one brings a lot to the table in terms of entertainment value. Bryson is Liz’ friend, and one of the few people she can tolerate. Like Liz, Bryson tend to be an anti-conformist hence the two getting along well. Bryson’s view in life along with his intelligence, sarcastic humor, and athleticism gained him a “varied” group of friends in his alma mater.

A laidback, easygoing lad, Bryson prides himself in hating Li’l Wayne. Some viewers may not agree with him on that but he’s just being true to himself. He also has good amount of knowledge regarding sports and country music, the latter must be a reason why he hate the rapper. Bryson Gilreath also prides himself in the fact that he get things done with the least amount of hard work. That bit may not sit well with some viewers or readers but he did say he is easygoing so that part is pretty much expected from the guy.

Sammi walked out to the backstage when host Julissa Bermudez announced the never-before-seen footage. Ronnie followed her and encouraged her to go back. She said she was embarrassed but she went back to the stage after finding courage to watch the footage.

It was revealed that she had an intimate conversation with Mike “the Situation” and she also told him about her flirting with a cop at the bar.

Ronnie seemed angry while watching the footage and told Sammi that their relationship was over. However, Ronnie told Rachael Ray on Tuesday that they are still together. It is possible that the reunion was filmed beforehand.

Other sources like People Magazine cited that they are still together. Similar rumors are spreading in the internet about their relationship but in the last episode, it is Ronnie himself who said that his relationship with Sammi is already over.

Tonight, in an effort to show better, more expensive comedy bits on the Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien introduced Mine that Bird, the 2009 Kentucky Derby Winner, wearing a huge mink Snuggie, and set up in front of a television playing restricted NFL Super Bowl footage.

The whole act costs NBC an estimated worth of $4.8 Million.

Aside from the horse, other guest also appeared in this second last episode . They are Robin Williams, Barry Manilow, Ben Stiller and Pee Wee Herman.

The final episode of the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien will air on Friday, January 22, 2010. Jay Leno will resume hosting for the Tonight Show in March after Winter Olympics. Conan will not be able to host until September as part of the agreement in his generous severance package.

Expect the last episode of the Tonight Show to have better character. And when we say better, we meant more expensive.

The Tonight Show’s schedule is shaky and it could their last week. So this week, Conan is introducing comedy bits that are not so funny as they are so expensive.

It looks ridiculous that the world’s most expensive car in the world is dressed up like a mouse. It is crazy expensive, not to mention the rights to re-air the clip on the internet is costly too. Conan happily ended the segment waving goodbye while saying “Sorry NBC.”

The total price for the comedy segment is US$1.5 Million.
