Pill Identifier With Pictures – Pill Identification Tool

Pill Identifier With Pictures – Pill Identification Tool

I found this cool tool from rxlist which I believe can help people identify or validate the medicines and drugs that they buy. There are many reasons why people would need such a service or tool. It could be that the packaging or the medicine was peeled off or became unreadable. Or the pill was mistakenly returned to the wrong box or packaging.

There are 3 ways to identify a pill

* You can Enter the imprint code displayed on the medication, (example the numbers and/or the letters on the side of the pill or tablet).
* You can choose the color of the pill from a pull down menu
* Lastky, you can select the shape of the pill in from a pull down menu.

Very user friendly specially for the old people.

Once you find a match, there will be a link to a more detailed description of the drug or medicine, and you can also see a picture to visually compare the one from the database vs the actual pill you have on hand.
