Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton

The Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton fight is one of the most anticipated events in boxing for 2009.

In the current issue of the Ring magazine,  17 experts out of the 20 picked Manny Pacquiao over Hatton for this fight.  Now that’s a good sign.

The event would be held on May 2, 2009  (May 3, 2009 in the Philippines).  It was reported that the deal was a 52-48 split in favor of Manny and a $12 million guaranteed purse.

The Pacquiao vs. Hatton pay-per-view telecast, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT, has a suggested retail price of $49.95.    The telecast will be produced and distributed by HBO PPV and will be available to more than 71 million pay-per-view homes.   (Manny would be so happy again with the amount of money he will receive from Pay per view sales).
