Nicole Joraanstad and US Curling Team Lost against Japan



nicole joraanstadThe U.S. Curling team was defeated during the first round of their game against Japan at a very small margin of points. Japan finished the game with the score of 9 points while U.S. only has 7 points. Included to the U.S. team was Nicole Joraanstad, who plays second position following Debbie McCormick.

Nicole has been part of the team for several years now and they already won a lot of championships. She is hoping that on the coming game against Germany they will play as one team and win it. She along with her teammates hopes to bring home the gold medal for the Curling event to give additional gold to the U.S. Winter Olympics team.

United States is currently on the number 4 position on the list of nations with the most gathered medals. They are behind Germany, who is presently in number 1 position, South Korea, and Switzerland.
