Student Died on Northerneastern University Campus

According to a university-wide email sent by senior Vice President of Enrollment and Student Life Philomena Mantella of Northerneastern University,  a student in died on campus today.

His name is Aaron  Zononi, a junior computer engineer student. He suddenly died while inside the campus and the cause of his death were not mentioned in the email announcement. Some people speculated whether he committed suicide.

“Our heartfelt condolences go to his family and all his many friends for this untimely loss,” said the email. “As our thoughts and prayers are with Aaron’s loved ones, we reflect on how precious life is, and seek comfort in the shared strength of our community.”

Zononi was an employee at Hollister Co. in the Cambridge Side Galleria and served on a committee with the faculty senate to initiate TRACE for faculty evaluations.
