Tornado Warning in Santa clara, Bay Area



California StormsDue to the strong storm in the region, National Weather Service issued another rare tornado warning in California, this time in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties.

The warning expired at 2:30 PM. It was released after the radar readings indicated severe thunderstorms that are capable of producing twisters. It was reported that hail Is expected according to the weather forecast.

Many were forced to evacuate the area. Several counties received similar tornado warnings yesterday due to the storm that is pounding the Bay Area.

People are always reminded that the best place to hide is in a basement when there is an imminent tornado. If there is no basement, it is highly urged that the residents seek shelter on the lowest floor of a building possible, and within a hallway or a room. Stay away from windows and protect yourself from injury by covering yourself with blankets or pillows.

High winds are now affecting San Joaquin County. Many are urged to flee ahead of California storm.
