I wondered what caused people to suddenly search for “Willie Revillame Died” or “Willie Revillame Dead

“. I’ve checked the websites of popular local dailies and there isn’t a hint about Willie Revillame being dead or even being in an accident or in a hospital somewhere. I guess this would be one of those dead people hoaxes.

Based on the above screencapture in google hottrends, it seems that the bulk of the searches were made in the US. So I guess the Filipino community there suddenly got a message or an email that prompted them do to an internet search to verify this.

I guess the Filipino community there loves ‘Pappy’  so much and has a huge following there.   It peaked 7 hours ago which is about 6am here in Manila or around 6pm in the US Thursday(July 23, 2009).
